Anchorum St. Vincent is a nonprofit Community Health Impact Organization that is re-imagining health and well-being in Santa Fe and northern New Mexico.
Founded in 2007 and formerly known as SVHsupport, Anchorum—pronounced an-CORE-um—is one of three St. Vincent organizations based in Santa Fe. The family also includes CHRISTUS St. Vincent—owned by a 50-50 partnership between Anchorum St. Vincent and CHRISTUS Health, headquartered in Dallas, Texas. The family of organizations also includes the St. Vincent Hospital Foundation. Together, the St. Vincent family represents the premier health and wellness system for our community, and one of the most innovative philanthropic health-impact models in the United States.
Anchorum plays a critical leading role in the community by applying a new model of health impact initiatives: We convene like-minded philanthropic investors, nonprofits, community members, and other partners, then serve as a catalyst to make impact grants, and sound, purposeful impact investments in four key strategic areas—Social Determinants, Health Innovation, Infrastructure, and Extending the Community's Continuum of Care. Impact investments in these key areas will have measurable impact on our underserved citizens, generate social and financial returns, and directly improve the well-being of the people.
In the face of urgent local health challenges, Anchorum is positioned to positively impact the physical, environmental, and socio-economic factors that shape our community.

For our community to thrive, we must invest in the health and well-being of our people.
At Anchorum St. Vincent, this is what we do. We are a unique nonprofit organization that puts impact investments to work in the community—extending care beyond traditional boundaries and elevating our community's capacity to heal and flourish.
This means investing in vulnerable, at-risk students and their families, in telehealth, mobile integrated health, and free-standing clinics that expand the continuum of care out into the community. For examples of how we’re currently investing in the community’s well-being, click here.

Leading these activities requires a thorough knowledge of the community and its health challenges, and strong relationships with local nonprofits and service-delivery organizations that can operationalize change. It also requires the proven business and financial acumen needed to identify, create, and act on opportunities for philanthropic investors. As a Community Health Impact Organization based in Santa Fe, Anchorum is ideally suited to this role of convener, catalyst, and intermediary in a unique platform.
